Spice Bazaar was colorful and fragrant!
Apparently “Spice” includes teas, turkish delight, baklava, dried produce, and cheese
Just outside you can buy that new wedding dress that you needed, and pick up a stuffed goat for the new neighbors!
I LOVE the public trash system in Istanbul – submerged tamper resistant trash cans, operated by my lovely assistant!
Amazing! (Apologies for giving you a horn!)
Inside the Haggia Sophia (Ayasophia)
Some Viking scribbles in the stone railing (bottom of picture) – though not clear which century they were made; now under glass:

Plenty of baklava to go around!
The city is full of amazing architecture (and tourist boats!)
Turkish Coffee – this might come in handy when I have to stay up late working on assignments this fall!
